Introduction

The City of Duvall is in the process of the 2024 Periodic Update to the City's Comprehensive Plan. Through this process the City will address new Growth Management Act (GMA) requirements, align the local plan with the Puget Sound Regional Council's VISION 2050, and ensure conformance with the updated Countywide Planning Policies for King County.

Much of the work to update the Comprehensive Plan will focus on new planning requirements including but not limited to equity, housing affordability, and leveling up our planning efforts for non-motorized transportation.

(And later...by 2029...Climate Resiliency will be an additional topic, too!)

Purpose

Public participation is a key part of the Comprehensive Plan Update process. To help the public understand the Comprehensive Plan Update process, the City has a webpage detailing why the City is updating the Plan and the anticipated update timeline.

In order to assist the City in the Comprehensive Plan Update process, we are asking for your input on our progress towards meeting our current Comprehensive Plan goals and more specific preferences related to transportation, economic development, and community involvement.

  • Information from this survey is collected by AHBL (Planning Consultant) and will be provided to the City thus all responses are subject to disclosure pursuant to RCW 42.56.
  • We have tailored this survey to focus on items of interest to the City that may not have been recently reviewed (this means you won't see many questions on parks/ recreation or housing because those topics were explored in other surveys).
  • Sampling is not being used and therefore the results of the survey will not be statistically valid.
  • This survey should take between 7 to 20 minutes to complete.
