Alternative #1 vs. Alternative #3 - REVISED:

Alternative #3A - Revised was created for the draft Land Use Element (dated July 2, 2024) for review by the Planning Commission during their July 2024 meeting.

Alternative #3A is similar to the previously prepared "Alternative 3 - BROAD GROWTH" map except that there are a few more parcels shown with a "Public" designation (for example, where WSDOT owns property) and a "Special Land Use Study Overlay" shown for a portion of the eastern edge of the city (with "Commercial" shown only on the northern-most segment, and the remaining lands shown with a "Public" or "Single Family Low" designation.

NO ACTION BROAD GROWTH - REVISED

Alternative #1 vs. Recommended Alternative

Alternative #1 (No Action) vs. Recommended Alternative

The City is planning to study the feasibility of changing land use designations in the Special Land Use Study Overlay areas shown on the map. A number of factors have led to interest in possible redesignation of land uses (together with zoning and allowed uses) in the overlay areas.
